We are now at a phase of the Moon (around 45% illuminated) when there is habitually a time of few great highs or lows and broadly reminiscent of the emotional doldrums. As such this very much defines this current time although the influence of numerous planetary alignments do at least add a degree of emotional colour to the setting.

More analytically this period may seem like a time of reduced enthusiasm and inspiration with little sense of drive and motivation. As a result in may feel harder to get going with lowered self confidence and an easy sense of disappointment. In addition there may be feelings of melancholia or depression with a pessimistic view of ones future prospects. If so then be assured that like all celestially induced moods this will soon pass, as other more zestful moods will soon begin to make themselves apparent.

The surprising fact is, that for such a nondescript mood atmosphere, we are now actually heading for one of the years most concentrated periods of planetary alignments and one that is sure to represent a roller coaster of moods and emotions. We are already at the beginning of this period and as reported yesterday we are now coming under the influence of the Mars/Venus opposition. Read the rest of this entry »
