This continues with an atmosphere that is slowly beginning to diminish from the very strident moods of only a few days ago. However there is still enough nervous tension to cause problems and there may be an unsettled and hard to satisfy atmosphere that may be filled with petty frustrations that may prove difficult or tedious to deal with.

The Sun still remains in alignment with Mercury and this is contributing to an increased sense of awareness with alert and powerful mental faculties. Paradoxically for a time like this there can also be mental or physical fatigue or tiredness, which can result when heightened moods persist for numerous consecutive days.

Sun/Mercury alignments can also lead to a heightened degree of perception that as well as bringing plenty of creative energy can result in an apprehensive atmosphere filled with an overactive mind which at times may veer towards deeply suspicious moods and inclinations. Indeed there may well be a touch of paranoia or obsession to these emotions and the merest pretext may be enough to send the imagination racing to hasty conclusions.

It should be remembered that Saturn and Uranus continue to be in long term opposition to one another in a slow moving alignment that will last until February of next year. Likely traits to result from this include sharply polarised feelings that may quickly vary from a determined, ambitious, and hard edged demeanour to one filled with doubts and insecurity and one that is unusually susceptible to disappointments or criticism of a personal nature. Other traits include deliberately cruel or harsh behaviour and feelings of aggression and eccentricity that at times may show a powerful deviation from ones normal character.

As with any immediate post New Moon atmosphere there is still the possibility of irritable or aggressive moods, though tempers will not so easily be ignited as just a couple of days ago.

With so many different stimuli it may prove hard to focus on the task in hand and this atmosphere may prove highly pressured for those on a tight deadline. On the other hand those with few demands on their time and efforts and able to manage according to a more sedate pace may come to relish this current mood ambience.

Once again the appreciation of time may be different than normal and this could well be a peculiarity of this time of year, as the perception of time can change quite noticeably over the course of the seasons.

Currently it may seem to pass with inordinate haste meaning that one will have to be extra disciplined to complete even the most basic tasks of ones daily routine. In any case this time of the year is habitually prone to pressure and although this may have something to do with the proximity of Christmas, there may be other reasons involved which are explored in the short feature below.
