Today may see a significant downturn from the very high and sometimes aggressive moods of the last few days and especially over the last 24 hours with the opposition of the Moon and Mars. This is now over, but there is still need to be cautious because there is still enough post New Moon tension to cause problems.

More especially the Sun still remains in alignment with Mercury and this is creating a significant increase in awareness as well as nervous and emotional restlessness. Feelings may be alert and on edge with raised apprehension and a tendency to needless worry and concern. Under these circumstances problems may seem magnified and similarly troubles of whatever nature may seem larger than they really are.

A feature of this period is a more sensitive and delicate feel to emotions with a vulnerable disposition that may leave one open to reflective thoughts and feelings. In addition there may be strong leanings towards mystical or spiritual values with the possibility of an inner awakening of thoughts and attitudes, as well as ideas of the mind that may open up the path towards fresh new avenues of personal discovery.

Certainly this may be a challenging period in terms of ones beliefs and there may be a strong urge to look away from materialism towards other more rewarding areas of enlightenment, which in the present emotional climate can occur quite spontaneously.

As well as anything this period is perfect for creative and artistic endeavours as well as all expressional activities that will benefit from a boost of inspiration and enthusiasm.

Once again a strong element of this period is that the perception of time - for reasons that are not clear -may be significantly altered to give the illusion that time is passing faster than normal. This may have to do with aspects of the Earth’s rotation which will be dealt with in a future topic, but many will have experienced the feeling that the same amount of time can appear to go by with a widely differing appreciation of its length. This is not to be wondered at. Time is a human conception, into which we try to portion out the day, but is essentially a complex mechanism whose implications are vast. Certainly at this period of the year time - at least in the northern hemisphere appears to go by with undue haste, and this will mean extra pressure in keeping to ones routine of work.

Over the last few days the Earth’s atmosphere has been buffeted by a high speed Solar wind stream. This can sometimes lead to moderate to elevated levels of geomagnetic activity and result in irritable, unfocused feelings with confused, forgetful and careless moods with poor concentration. Physical symptoms can include neuralgic pains including headache and toothache, as well as unexplained bouts of dizziness, palpitations, or just feeling tired and washed out. It should be stressed that if related to geomagnetic activity these symptoms barely persist for longer than a day or two.
