The principal feature of this present alert is the alignment between the Moon and Venus. The two will remain closely aligned until around 24:00 GMT, or 19:00 EDT.

Likely moods to result from the Moon/Venus alignment include a more friendly, popular, and affectionate atmosphere with a better sense of rhythm and balance. There will also be a reduced degree of restlessness with a better feeling of contentment and optimism. This may also give rise to future plans and ideas, and creative or artistic exploits will benefit from a much needed boost. In fact overall this alignment may regenerate flagging enthusiasm and inspiration, though unfortunately this will be of short duration only.

Communication with others may also show a marked improvement, though some awkwardness over romantic inclinations may lead to difficulties. In general this is exactly the prime sort of atmosphere for affectionate circumstances and feelings of intimacy may be well to the fore.

It is important to remember that we are now just three or four days short of the New Moon. Inevitably this will soon begin to register as a tense and anxious atmosphere and once the above mentioned effects of Venus begin to dissipate there will be a marked and contrasting increase in aggressive and contentious inclinations.
