While this is a noticeably less strident atmosphere than of late there is still enough friction to cause problems.

Usually with this phase of the Moon there will be something broadly comparable to the emotional doldrums with few great highs or lows. However on this occasion the Moon is in opposition to Neptune and remains so until around 19:00 GMT (14:00 EDT) This is likely to produce acute emotional sensitivity, with the risk of agitated or turbulent emotions. These will be balanced by the current phase of the Moon, though this may simply mean that feelings tend towards the depressive or pessimistic side of the emotional spectrum. In addition there may be unstable or unbalanced feelings with confused and chaotic thinking.

Under these circumstances concentration may be far from optimal and there will be problems of focus or keeping to the task in hand. Indeed this is very much an atmosphere prone to escapist thoughts and tendencies so that more attractive alternatives will pose difficulties to ones daily routine.

Another side to this atmosphere is the potential for deceitful or self deluding actions. These may be accompanied by varying levels of neurotic behaviour that could make one prone to doubts and suspicions, and even paranoia’s of the most acute variety.

On the more positive side this atmosphere offers the possibility for refined and assimilative influences with the possibility of absorbing new ideas, philosophies, or attitudes, that may have a lasting influence on ones future course of development.

As mentioned above this current phase of the Moon may tend towards melancholic or depressive moods that may heighten personal limitations to produce lowered self esteem and confidence. Within the next 24 hours the Moon will come into alignment with Saturn and at the same time in opposition to Uranus. This is likely to result in a polarisation of influence towards two distinct and separate mood atmospheres. One will be prone to depressive moods and emotions and the other to more ambitious, extreme, and confrontational inclinations. However more on this in a following alert bulletin.
