The early part of this alert bulletin until around 10:00 GMT, will be conditioned by the remaining effects of the alignment between the Moon and Mars. This means increased aggression and irritability, with easily aroused passions that can give way to argumentative moods and inclinations. It also means added nervous restlessness with some anxiety and tension.

As the effects of this alignment gradually begin to dissipate feelings may begin to feel a little more relaxed than of late with a more easy going atmosphere. However there will still need to be wary as awkward and unsettling moods will still be in evidence. These may not be easy to describe, but most people will be familiar with the sort of emotional atmosphere where getting going is harder than usual and decisions, especially those of an important nature are shunned and avoided.

In addition there may be a poor sense of responsibility and unavoidable tasks may be undertaken with no greater motive than to get them out of the way as soon as possible, and with the minimum acceptable degree of quality. Under these circumstances those under a tight deadline may come to feel especially pressured and those also needing to attain high levels of creative inspiration in their work may struggle.

It is a peculiar fact that the appreciation of the passage of time is not always constant. Time at various periods of the year seems to pass slower, or faster than usual. Hence the present time may see time evaporate with undue haste leaving little that appears to have been accomplished and too many jobs unfinished. This is a major discussion in itself but some think that the appreciation of time may vary according to the different rotational characteristics of the Earth - but more on this in a future alert. Essentially it means that there may appear less time than usual to fit in what needs to be done, and that time itself now seems to operate to a much faster rhythm.

Escapist tendencies will be well to the fore, and there will be competition from distracting influences that again will tend to place heavy strain on ones available time. Similarly there may be comfort eating, or the purchase of personal treats or extravagances, or other items that may quickly lose their appeal and attraction.

All in all this is still a time of noticeable tensions, but with a slow climb down in the intensity of moods and emotions. Concentration will be far from optimal and it may prove difficult to keep to the task in hand. In addition there may be subtle fears and concerns that may be difficult to avoid, and this whole atmosphere may be filled with confusing thoughts and impressions.
