Today is the day of the Full Moon, and inevitably there will be an intense degree of nervous restlessness with impatient, and impetuous emotions that will not easily settle. This present Full Moon is also likely to be more potent than usual because it coincides with Lunar Perigee, the period in the Moon’s monthly cycle when it is closest to the Earth and hence looks even larger than usual.
As a result there may be acute tension and anxiety and problems will all seem magnified. Allied to this there may be an urgent desire to get things done, but this may contribute to a blockage of emotion with so much mental activity that making up ones mind may prove difficult and paradoxically this may lead to reduced productivity, confusion or chaos, or towards doing nothing in particular. In addition ones daily routine may prove difficult if not impossible to adhere to and there may be competing interests that render any firm plan of action extremely hard to keep to.
As with any Full Moon situation there will be a heightened risk of contentious encounters with the risk of arguments, volatile behaviour and a loss of control and temper over even the most trivial of reasons. Indeed where arguments develop there may be little restraint in what is said or done and friction may even develop solely for the sake of giving vent to ones fears and frustrations.
Under these circumstances problems will be magnified, and solutions will suffer through lack of mental clarity and this could lead not just to frustration but also to despair and agitation that under the present emotional climate has the potential to approach crisis level. Fears and concerns may proliferate with generalised apprehension and worry over the most mundane of problems. Again these have the potential to quickly reach crisis point in what is a greatly heightened period of emotional awareness.
At times like this there is always the possibility of heightened fun and enjoyment with zestful and satisfying emotions that can border on the ecstatic. However there is a very fine line that now separates a good time from one of a considerably more stressful nature and even the most convivial of settings can quickly turn sour over some trivial misunderstanding. Naturally this will be all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol. This may act in a subtle manner, because stress laden situations mean more adrenaline, that means that more alcohol is needed to take the edge off the situation, leading to swifter intoxication and the possibility of extremely unsociable moods and actions.
All in all this is a highly volatile mood situation, with restless and uncomfortable emotions that will push some to the very brink of what they feel they can stand. However like all celestially induced mood situations this will not last for long, and earlier next week should see a return to a calmer emotional atmosphere.
Alert is 8.5. Moon 100% illuminated.
