Although moods and emotions are heading towards a more sedate and easy going atmosphere, there is a surprising degree of nervous restlessness that for some may pose significant problems. This may be due to the fact that for numerous consecutive days the Earth’s atmosphere has been buffeted by strong Solar wind streams flowing from a Coronal Hole on the surface of the Sun.

As a result moods and emotions may tend towards being unsettled, jumpy, or irritable. Similarly there may be poor concentration with lack of focus, so that keeping to ones daily routine may require extra discipline and perseverance.

Under these circumstances work may seem more than usually tedious and escapist thoughts and tendencies will prove tempting and likely to cause intense distractions. As a consequence tasks may be completed to a low standard of quality, or, if possible, avoided altogether. This atmosphere may also give rise to raised apprehensions and concerns with sensitive and vulnerable emotions that will make for delicate mood patterns that will easily be upset.

It should be remembered that Saturn is now in long term opposition to Uranus, and the pair will remain aligned for at least several months to come. This means that its likely effects will become absorbed and over time accepted and taken for granted.

These traits include swiftly altering mood patterns that may range from ambitious, enthusiastic and hard edged aggression to a more depressive and pessimistic disposition filled with doubts and misgivings. This means there may be plenty of original thought and inspiration, but also timid and restrained inclinations that may stunt forward progress. To some extent this could play havoc with making important plans and decisions as there will be significant doubts, and eventually decisions may be taken impulsively without full regard of the consequences. Hence this could come to be a period of spontaneous gestures with sometimes heavy expenditure on a whim or fleeting fancy that may later be regretted.

All in all this is a surprisingly complex atmosphere with contrasting emotions of a quite notable nature. This is soon set to become even more complex with the alignment of the Moon and Neptune which could lead to extreme emotional sensitivity. But more on this in the next alert bulletin.
