This is now a transitional atmosphere between the high emotions of the New Moon and an altogether more sedate and easy going mood atmosphere. However there is still enough nervous tension around to cause problems, and this may lead to subtle fears and concerns with a noticeable degree of emotional restlessness. As a result it may feel difficult to settle with reduced concentration, so that tasks may tend to be rushed, or completed to a less than satisfactory manner.
To some extent this is no mood for a rigid schedule and those faced with a tight deadline may come to feel especially pressured. On the other hand those with time on their hands and able to set their own schedule may find this period more favourable for relaxing.
Under these circumstances there may be a reluctance to consider important decisions, which in any case may best be left for another time as this mood will probably not allow for the clearest of thinking, and decisions may be made more out of instinct, or on an impulse, rather than well reasoned thought and deliberation.
Escapist inclinations will be well to the fore and this will inevitably mean distractions that could prove difficult to ignore. Hence time will seem to disappear all too quickly, and there will be a strong yearning for instant rewards and emotional gratification rather than rewards from long term efforts. Similarly there may be a strong desire for change or variety, and this mood will be no lover of convention. On the other hand there may be little discipline towards achieving any long term changes, which may be just as well, since - as mentioned above - decisions may be poorly arrived at. Nevertheless this period may form the launch pad for future ideas and ventures and some of these may be of a permanent nature.
Communication with others may be better inclined than of late, with a relatively undemanding atmosphere that could make for fewer clashes or feelings of resentment.
Coming days should see a further decline in the intensity of moods and emotions though this may be at the expense of some melancholia or depression. On the other hand those who relish an unhurried atmosphere may come to welcome the next few days.
Alert is 7. Moon 22% illuminated.
