The principal factor of this present alert is the opposition between the Moon and Mars. This will be influential until around 10:00 GMT (05:00 EDT) on the 14th of November, and carries important mood implications.

Topmost of these are easily aroused passions with a keen sense of likes and dislikes. In addition there will be robust and passionate feelings with strong emotions that may on occasion spill over into arguments or volatile expression. In some circumstances this may give way to violence or bullying behaviour or an over bearing attitude with selfish inclinations.

As usual with any Moon/Mars alignment there will be a high degree of nervous restlessness with impatient, abrupt, or irritable gestures. This may also manifest itself in egocentric shows of over confidence that may lead to accidents, mistakes, and general carelessness.

Although some degree of apprehension and concern may be apparent this will be largely submerged beneath an atmosphere of zealous energy, with strong and determined feelings, with a sharply ambitious edge to them.

Another factor of this period is a high Solar wind stream that is now buffeting the Earth’s atmosphere. Usually this can result in heightened moods and emotions with irritability, aggression, or other more confused emotions with poor concentration, lack of focus, and trouble making up ones mind. This can also lead to genuine physical complaints such as neuralgic pains with headache and toothache, or fatigue and tiredness. It should be stressed that these symptoms are of short duration only, and if persistent over a longer period, involving more than just several days are very likely due to a different cause.

It should also be remembered that at just barely 14% illuminated there is still enough of the residual New Moon energy to cause problems, and those of a vulnerable disposition may still find this atmosphere a substantial challenge.

Coming days ahead should see a gradual decline in the intensity of emotions, but there are still numerous Lunar alignments that will give brief, but unsettling pulses of heightened awareness.
