In this immediate post New Moon atmosphere tensions will still be running high with increased nervous restlessness. In addition there may be feelings of unease or trouble settling so that difficulties and problems will all appear magnified. Similarly there may be apprehension and concern even over trivial matters and these worries may quickly multiply.
Once again there is the potential for contentious encounters with argumentative behaviour with the risk of conflict, volatile expression or even violence. Indeed there may be a sizeable degree of animosity and it may be easy to cause offence as there will be an especial sensitivity to personal criticism.
Under these circumstances it may feel harder to get going and one may easily be distracted by escapist inclinations that will feel difficult to resist. Indeed there may be considerable pressure to take the edge off the atmosphere, perhaps by drinking more than usual. If so then it should be warned that the effects of alcohol will be magnified at this time and even moderate quantities may lead to the release of difficult or objectionable moods and feelings. Other stress busting remedies may involve retail therapy or comfort eating and throughout this current New Moon period there will be an intense need for reassurance. Read the rest of this entry »
