Extra earthquake activity likely in week ahead.

A feature of the coming week ahead will be the possibility of increased earthquake activity with the potential for larger than usual quakes in those areas susceptible to such events.

As mentioned numerous time already the Full and New Moons are not just capable of affecting ocean tides but also capable of raising mountain ranges by up to six inches. Afterwards when these snap back into place the resulting pressure places enormous strain on underlying tectonic plates with the result that we get larger than usual earthquakes - a phenomenon that is repeated over and over whenever there is a Full or New Moon.

To a lesser extent there is another brief, but not as intense period of increased earthquake activity, when the Moon is exactly square, or 50 % illuminated, though this period of vulnerability is of very short duration.

5th - 6th November 2007

We are now just three or four days away from the New Moon according to the various time zones and inevitably moods and emotions will begin to feel tense and on edge.

For some this could mean tense restless energy with anxiety and apprehension together with a growing sense of vulnerability to even moderate problems and difficulties. Indeed those susceptible to sensitive atmospheres may find the next few days a bit of a challenge. Inevitably there will also be a rise in aggression with the risk of arguments and contentious encounters.

For the moment the more aggressive side of this mood atmosphere, as well as some of the more worrisome aspects of this period may be held at bay by the effects of the alignment between the Moon and Venus. This is now at a peak and will remain influential until around 06:00 GMT (01:00 EDT) on the 6th of November. Read the rest of this entry »
