The principal feature of this current alert is still the on going opposition between Uranus and the Moon. This has been influential for around 24 hours and its effects will not begin to diminish until around 12:00 Noon GMT (07:00 EDT) on the 5th of November.
As moods go Moon/Uranus alignments are amongst the top category of unsettling celestial events that need very careful handling. Likely traits include over excitable moods and feelings together with an emphasis on the very drastic and dramatic. Indeed Moon/Uranus alignments are often associated with particularly heinous acts of murder especially those that involve spontaneous acts of mass killings such as the Virginia Tech shootings earlier this year, or the murder of five Greek hunters in a field. Then there was the chilling case in Australia of two school girls murdering their best friend, because it suddenly seemed like the “right thing to do.”
This current Moon/Uranus opposition has already seen numerous acts of spontaneous violence including a crazed gunman in Italy who suddenly began shooting at passers by from his balcony, killing at least one individual.
From the above mentioned cases it is evident that the forces associated with Moon/Uranus alignments can often be extreme, and even more concerning is the fact that many, if not all of the cases outlined above were perpetrated by persons who had never been in trouble with the authorities and to all intents and purposes were just ordinary citizens who suddenly took it upon themselves to act in the most drastic of manners.
