Unfortunately for reasons beyond our control it was not possible to bring yesterday’s alert.

For today however the principal feature of this current alert is the impending alignment between the Moon and Saturn. This will come to a peak around 19:00 GMT (14:00 EDT) and will remain emotionally active for around 14 hours.

Also at this time, the Moon comes into opposition to Uranus. This is a longer lasting alignment and will have important mood implications for the next 36 hours.

As frequent visitors to this site will know Moon/Uranus alignments are amongst the most unsettling of periods and deserve to be taken very seriously indeed. Likely traits to result from this are emotionally charged moods and feelings with a changeable and restless disposition, coupled with over-excitable, aggressive or eccentric behaviour. This means highly strung inclinations with a propensity towards drastic solutions or extremes of expression that could result in upheavals within the family setting.

Fortunately for some of the above mentioned period there will be the tempering influence of Saturn. This will instil reserved or restrained emotions with self discipline and control. It can also lead to lack of confidence with a shy or retiring disposition with self conscious moods and actions.

It will be seen then that this period is affected by two fundamentally different atmospheres. One is the highly galvanic energy of Uranus with its tendency towards excess, perversity and drastic extremes, and the other is the rigid, disciplined moods of Saturn. Naturally both will play against one another so a mixture of the above mentioned traits will inevitably add colour to the days ahead. Either way it means a time of extra care and vigilance as moods may easily spiral into uncontrolled outbursts or difficult situations with consequences for some time to come.

On the positive side this moods offers energy and ideas for future schemes and ventures and for the present at least there will be a measure of balance that will prevent these ideas from becoming too extreme or unrealistic.
