Although moods and emotions are not as tense as only just a few days ago there is still need to be cautious. We are now only several days beyond the Full Moon and feelings are still likely to be stretched and subject to worry and apprehension.

Under these circumstances problems are likely to be magnified and assume undue proportions. In addition there may be subtle fears and anxieties of an indistinct nature. On the other hand there may not be the same intense nature to emotions that characterised moods over previous days and the coming week will see an even greater decline in their intensity.

As with any immediate post Full Moon environment there is the potential for contentious encounters, arguments and volatile expression. These will become all the more likely with the consumption of alcohol and even moderate quantities may be capable of releasing quite strong emotions. On the more positive side there will still be enough zest and nervous energy to give impetus to on going schemes and ventures and this atmosphere may also give rise to fresh new ideas that may be of immense future importance.

This is now a time of relatively few major planetary alignments. Indeed there is only one alignment of major note, and this is the opposition between Saturn and Uranus. This is extremely slow moving and will be with us for many months to come. Likely traits include ambitious, self willed moods and feelings, with a tendency to egotism and even cruelty. Other likely inclinations involve emotions that may swiftly alternate between confident, or nervously tensed moods and a more depressive and limited outlook with lack of confidence and enthusiasm.

Because this alignment will be such a fixture over the coming months its effects and influence will largely be absorbed and over a time taken completely for granted. One example of this was the opposition between Neptune and Saturn, which was with us for around 12 months and finally came to an end in the late summer of this year. Over the course of that time it exerted a subtle but definite influence with hesitant, confusing and chaotic moods capable of thwarting forward development, as well as producing doubts and inhibitions.

Coming days will see a slow decline in the intensity of the Full Moon feelings, though enough nervous restlessness may still be around to cause problems.

Alert is 7.5. Moon 93% illuminated.
