26th - 27th October 2007

Today is the day of the Full Moon and tensions will be running high. In addition we have the influence of numerous planetary alignments that will add further influence to the effects of the Full Moon and thus make it even more laden with nervously inclined moods and emotions.

As a result there may be varying degrees of worry and anxiety with generalised fears and apprehensions that for some may be of an acute variety. Indeed for some there may be intense nervous restlessness with trouble settling, and a tendency towards nervous upsets or panic attacks. Under these circumstances problems will be magnified and come to seem insoluble or more important than they really are.

As with every Full Moon situation there is the risk of aggressive or belligerent moods with contentious encounters, or volatile exchanges that may flare up on the merest pretext. These will be made all the more likely by the consumption of alcohol whose effects will now tend to be magnified. Consequently even moderate quantities may be capable of major mood altering properties and this may lead to unpleasant scenes and experiences. The effects of caffeine will also be magnified at this time and even moderate consumption will be capable of raising general tensions and anxieties.

The Sun still remains in alignment with Mercury and this will add powerful emotions to already stark experiences, with alert and forceful impressions as well as strong zestful energy. This will be good for those on a tight deadline, but not so good for those who are under employed in their efforts, or those who through emotional turmoil may find it difficult to get going.

Another feature of the last 24 hours was a surge in geomagnetic activity as a result of strong Solar wind streams that have been buffeting the Earth’s atmosphere. It has been observed that these episodes can give rise to short term mental confusion or other symptoms such as irritability, poor concentration as well as impulsive and careless actions. It can also lead to a host of physical symptoms such as neuralgic pains, headache, toothache, lethargy and tiredness. However these symptoms are relatively short lived and if associated with geomagnetic activity should be gone within a very short time.

Coming days may continue to be tense and anxious with heightened awareness and nervous restlessness. However as with any Full Moon period there is the possibility of freer and less inhibited emotions with the possibility of good fun and enjoyment. Provided these can be kept clear of excess these can result in intensely rewarding experiences, though more stressful emotions will never be far away.

Alert is 8.5. Moon 100% illuminated.
