We are now just two or three days away from the Full Moon according to time zones, and this month the Full Moon will seem even larger than usual. This is no illusion. In its monthly phase cycle the Moon’s distance from the Earth varies quite considerably and this Full Moon coincides with Lunar Perigee, or the date when the Moon is closest to the Earth for this month.
As well as seeming larger it is also likely that the effects of the Moon on moods and emotions will also be magnified. Certainly the larger Moon sees higher than normal tides and this is bound to be the case with moods. As a result all the usual attributes associated with the Full Moon - aggressive irritable, as well as tense and anxious moods and inclinations will all be magnified. Read the rest of this entry »
