Coming days, if not this present time will see a noticeable upsurge in more forceful and strident emotions. It will also see a return to a more concentrated period of planetary alignments, with some important mood influencing conjunctions that in one instance will be with us for some months to come.

The most dominant feature of the next week is the impending Full Moon on the 26th of the month. Although this is still six days away its first effects will soon begin to make themselves known and in tandem with some notable Lunar alignments will make the coming week one of noticeable tension.

For the moment moods inhabit a transitional phase between a sedate and easy going atmosphere to one of growing tension and anxiety. With regards the next 24 hours this will tend to be dominated by the alignment between the Moon and Neptune. This will begin to come to a peak around 21:00 GMT (17:00 EDT) and will last for approximately 14 hours. Likely traits to result from this include refined and responsive moods but with a tendency towards acute emotional sensitivity with confused, chaotic, or otherwise unstable moods and feelings. It can also lead to neurotic inclinations with deceitful or escapist behaviour. In addition there may be intimations of a sensitive, receptive, or even psychic disposition that will add inspiration to activities of an artistic or creative nature.

This period is also coming under the growing influence of the opposition between Uranus and Saturn. This will be active for some months and will contribute an atmosphere of more ambitious and determined moods and inclinations with a tendency towards egotism and cruelty. There may also be self willed, practical, and mechanical minded leanings, and feelings that alternate between depressive and nervously active moods and behaviour.

As with all emotions associated with Uranus there is the likelihood of eccentric, perverse, extreme, or otherwise out of character moods and together with the usual run of Lunar alignments will add considerable spice to the months ahead. Once again it should be stressed that these moods will take time to assert themselves and since this opposition will be around for some months to come its effects will tend to be absorbed and taken for granted.

In what is fast becoming a highly complex emotional atmosphere there is yet further influence from the fast gathering alignment between the Sun and Mercury. Fast moving, this will peak in the week ahead and lead to powerful mental and emotional activity with good expressional ability. It may also result in an intense desire for change with the possibility of unsettled emotions and nervous upsets.

It will be evident that this period finds itself at the focus of many separate influences and it means that coming days will become progressively more loaded with tense and anxious moods and emotions.
