We are now just several days beyond the New Moon and although tensions are not quite as high as several days ago, they are still sufficient to cause problems.

As a result there is likely to be tense nervous energy with noticeable apprehensions, together with subtle fears and concerns. For some these may be of an extreme nature, but for most it will merely seem like a sensitive and vulnerable period of emotional insecurity. There may also be a disposition towards aggressive and belligerent behaviour with simmering resentment and hostility that may on occasions erupt into arguments and confrontation.

Coming days should see a general and progressive decline in the more heightened moods and feelings, though this may be at the expense of some melancholia and depression.

One of the principal features of this current period is the alignment between Venus and Saturn which is currently at a peak. This has been influential for over ten days now and is contributing to a mood of limited or disciplined emotion, with reserved and coolly affectionate feelings. At the same time this may also result in selfish and exacting emotions with feelings of loneliness and isolation.

As mentioned above coming days should see a gradual decline in the intensity of moods, but this may produce some melancholia or depression with poor self confidence and sense of purpose. Consequently it may be easy to feel deflated, and easily disappointed, so that criticism will be especially hard to take. It may also feel harder to get going and those on a tight deadline may feel especially pressured. Conversely those with little demands on their time and efforts may value this period as an ideal time to rest and relax.

Alert is 7. Moon 11% illuminated.
