The current mood is largely shaped by two oppositions. The first of these is the fast diminishing opposition between the Sun and Uranus. For nearly two weeks now this has contributed an unusual sequence of moods and emotions that may all too easily tend towards extremes of thought and expression. Added to that there is the likelihood of out of character thoughts and inclinations with bizarre or eccentric actions.
Under these circumstances there may well be an attraction towards ideas or interests that one may never have previously considered. Whether for better or for worse these inclinations have the ability to shape ones future development in a major way, hence care should be taken before acting on any sudden impulses.
The Sun/Uranus opposition is also capable of provoking sudden flashes of temper or agitated moods and feelings with the possibility of friction within relationships. Indeed where arguments develop these may swiftly deteriorate into nasty exchanges with little restraint in what is said or done.
Although the Sun/Uranus opposition is now almost at an end the slow moving opposition between Venus and Neptune is only just about to come to a peak. As such it will exert a determinative influence over the moods of the coming weeks. Likely traits include increased sensitivity, with refined and delicate feelings that will be prone to sentimental or idealistic emotions. This will lead to a better balance of feelings with increased harmony and rhythm, as well as an appreciation of beauty or the finer things in life. However this alignment also has the potential to cause disappointment or easy disillusionment with the possibility of confusion, self delusion, or deceitful actions.
Another feature of this period is a propensity towards worry or needless anxiety over even the most trivial of problems. This has the potential to cause intense apprehension with restless emotions that may prove difficult to alleviate, and may easily tend towards fatigue or exhaustion.
The overall outlook for the immediate future will be of complex moods that although not filled with the same powerful urgency as a few days ago will nevertheless be capable of causing problems of anxiety or tension. The coming week however should see a turn towards calmer moods and feelings as we begin to exit one of the most concentrated periods of celestial activity for quite some time.
