The overall atmosphere will continue to be tense and on edge with plenty of nervous energy, and the possibility of irritable, short tempered outbursts.

We are now barely a day beyond the New Moon and emotions will be heightened and susceptible to sensitive and vulnerable moods and feelings. In addition there is the influence of Uranus to consider and this may lead to eccentric, or unusual shades of expression with out of character thoughts and actions. There may also be powerful disposition towards disruptive moods and emotions with the possibility of independent attitudes filled with rebellious inclinations or an intense desire for change.

Similarly there may be a tendency towards the dramatic or the very drastic and moods may easily tend towards extremes. This will be especially apparent where there is the consumption of alcohol whose effects will be magnified at this time.

A degree of balance and control may come from the fast gathering opposition between Venus and Neptune. This is likely to instil more sensitive, refined, or delicate emotions with idealistic or sentimental traits, and a better appreciation of harmony and rhythm. However there is also the likelihood of confused or self deluded emotions and the prospect of easy disillusionment. It means that although there may be an intense desire for change, or to succeed in ones aims, there will also be a negative disposition that will be easily discouraged by the first sign of problems and difficulties.

This atmosphere may also tend towards needless fears and preoccupation with a worrying disposition that may at times become severe or even disabling. Indeed those vulnerable to sensitive atmospheres may find this period is still quite challenging, and may render them prone to “nervous episodes” or even panic attacks.

It is a matter of fact that the last three weeks have been especially loaded with intense and stressful emotions. This is largely the result of one of the years most concentrated periods of planetary alignments. However this period is now almost at an end as (excepting the Venus/Neptune opposition) we begin to enter a spell of relatively few planetary alignments. As such there should be a more stable development of emotions, though of course there will still be the usual Full Moon and New Moon periods to contend with, along the monthly sequence of aspects made by the Moon with the planets.
