This still continues to be a highly complex mood situation at the influence of contrasting celestial forces. Inevitably this means clashing emotions with the possibility of stark mood contrasts over a very short time period.

Of principal importance is the opposition between the Sun and Uranus which is now coming to a peak. This is likely to produce strange or bizarre thoughts and emotions with the likelihood of eccentric, or out of character moods and feelings. As well as anything this can lead to the adoption of interests that one may never have previously considered. In addition one may feel a little strange or separated from ones normal feelings, as well as a dislocation from ones normal inhibitions. For some this may be disturbing, and under these circumstances ones actions may easily lean towards totally unexpected directions.

The opposition of the Sun and Uranus is also capable of generating extremes of mood and circumstance and this will be more evident as we begin to approach the New Moon which is now only a matter of five days away. Other noticeable traits may include a very heightened sense of awareness with acute or penetrating feelings that may induce strong doubts or apprehension.

Some measure of restraint my come from the slow developing opposition between Venus and Neptune. This is likely to bring more balanced and harmonious feelings, but with a tendency towards deceit and self deception. It may also evoke sensitive or sentimental emotions with idealistic traits and aspirations. A probable influence of this may be a strong attraction towards artistic pursuits and particularly music.

Also of influence at this time is the diminishing opposition between Mars and Jupiter. This has been active for several weeks now and has contributed a degree of zest and aggression. For some this may have added spice to their lives with an added sense of enjoyment, but also the risk of excess, or the potential for exaggerated, over adventurous inclinations with a certain sense of self superiority. Nevertheless as we have mentioned many times over the last few weeks it is difficult for any one emotion to become too pronounced without a contrasting force that prevents it from becoming too extreme.

Another feature of this period is likely to be a strong attraction for escapism in its limitless forms and this could mean that ones normal routine may be subject to distractions of a more appealing nature. Over the course of the next week it is inevitable that there will be a rise in nervous tension and anxiety with the possibility of friction within relationships. Balancing factors will prevent these moods from becoming too extreme but it still means that this period should be treated with caution.
