At least five major planetary alignments or oppositions hold sway over this present alert pattern, but all of them are either beyond their peak, or have yet to reach a peak.
In the case of one: The opposition between Saturn and Neptune, this happens to be the last day of a year long conjunction that has lasted since the late summer of last year. This has contributed a steady influence of hesitant, unfocused and confused thinking which may have been to the detriment of forward progress. Hence it may be that if the last 12 months has seemed to be one of little personal development, then the Saturn/Neptune opposition may be the answer.
For the most part its effects will have been absorbed over a period of time, and thus taken for granted, but now that the opposition is coming to an end the difference may slowly become apparent, with more decisive thoughts and actions.
For the moment it is the fast developing opposition between the Sun and Uranus that holds the most interest. This is still at least three days from a peak, but its influence is very much apparent. This may contribute an atmosphere of intense moods and feelings with the possibility of extremes of expression. This means agitated or over excitable feelings with rebellious or argumentative inclinations, with very strident beliefs and convictions. In addition there may be a tendency towards bizarre, unusual, or totally out of character modes of behaviour, of the sort that may cause future embarrassment of a lasting nature. This opposition can also incline towards fits of hysteria or paranoia.
Of the other oppositions the most influential is perhaps the one between Mars and Jupiter. Although this is beyond its peak, it is still influential and for the last few weeks has contributed strong and robust mental faculties with increased enthusiasm and energy for on going schemes and ventures. However this opposition can also result in boisterous, boastful and even bullying behaviour, with the possibility of highly aggressive moods and feelings.
Although the opposition between Mercury and Uranus is declining fast it is still able to contribute a high degree of mental awareness with a perceptive but highly strung nervous system. For some this will enable a welcome flow of thoughts and ideas with improved alertness and concentration. For others on the other hand it may produce agitated and confused emotions that some will find hard to cope with.
In this very complex celestial pattern the slow moving opposition between Venus and Neptune provides yet another source of important mood influence. This is likely to result in more refined and delicate emotions with idealistic or sentimental thoughts and feelings with a better appreciation of balance and harmony. On the other hand it can also incline towards self deception, confusion, or easy disillusionment.
It will be seen that this continues to be a period of the greatest celestial complexity with similar implications for moods and feelings. Not all of these emotions will be disagreeable however and in the midst of a noticeably alert and perceptive atmosphere there is the nervous energy and alertness to make this a determinative period of great personal importance ands significance.
