We are now in the midst of a highly complex pattern of planetary alignments, that come exactly at the time of the Full Moon. This means there will be strong and powerful moods with clashing emotions and feelings.

As with any Full Moon setting there is always the potential for heightened nervous restlessness with added anxiety and tension. In addition there may be aggressive behaviour with a strong possibility of arguments and contentious encounters.

Similarly there may be growing irritability, impatience, and lack of concentration. This situation will be made all the more sharper by the opposition between Mars and Jupiter. As a result there will be a sharpening of zestful energy that may instil a vigour and enthusiasm for getting on with things. However it will also heighten feelings of a more confrontational nature and may lead to selfish, overbearing, or bullying attitudes.

Some measure of restraint may come from the opposition between the Moon and Saturn. This will likely take some of the zest off the harsher elements of this period, but only at the expense of some melancholia, doubt or disillusionment. It means that the high enthusiasm of the Mars/Jupiter opposition will be balanced by the more restrained elements of Saturn, so that what seemed like a great idea one moment may seem laden with doubts and misgivings a short while later. In many respects these moods tend to cancel each other out, and there is always likely to be a conflict between more adventurous feelings and those of an altogether more conservative nature.

This period also sees the influence of two other important alignments. For example the opposition between Mercury and Uranus is now coming to a peak. This is likely to create highly strung moods and feelings with disruptive mental expression as well as eccentricity , extremist ideas and even perversity. It will also create very perceptive and inventive inclinations, with the potential for highly original thought and imagination that will suit all creative exploits.

Venus is now in opposition to Neptune, and although the alignment has not yet reached a peak, it still has the ability for subtle influence. This may result in idealistic or sentimental feelings and emotions with refined or delicate moods that may also be susceptible to confusion or easy disillusionment.

It will be apparent from the above mentioned details that this is a period of the greatest emotional complexity. Strongly enthusiastic or confrontational moods will be contrasted by those of a much more restrained and disciplined nature. Under these circumstances it is possible for quick variations in mood and temperament, so that no one mood pattern should last too long. Although some may find this a difficult and challenging period there is the possibility that many will regard this as a chance to broaden their horizons or branch out into new ventures they may never have previously contemplated.
