We are now only hours away from the Full Moon and moods will seem stretched and on edge with the possibility of extremes of emotion. In addition there may be acute nervous restlessness with noticeable tension and anxiety.

Under these circumstances there may be great apprehension with worry and concern, so that problems will be magnified. There will also be a potential for more aggressive and belligerent attitudes with the risk of arguments, confrontation and volatile expression. Indeed it should be warned that where arguments develop there may be little restraint in what is said or done and events may swiftly degenerate towards extremes. This will me made all the more likely by the opposition between Mars and Jupiter. This can tend towards zestful and pleasurable enjoyment but also towards bombastic, boastful, or even bullying emotions, with selfish behaviour.

Today also sees the years most complicated pattern of planetary alignments. For example the Sun is still aligned with Saturn, whereas Uranus is now at the peak of its alignment with Mercury. This is likely to create highly strung moods and feelings with disruptive mental expression as well as eccentricity , extremist ideas and even perversity. It will also create very perceptive and inventive inclinations, with the potential for highly original thought and imagination that will suit all creative exploits.

Venus is now also in opposition to Neptune, and although the alignment has not yet reached a peak, it still has the ability for subtle influence. This may result in idealistic or sentimental feelings and emotions with refined or delicate moods that may also be susceptible to confusion or easy disillusionment.

Some measure of restraint may come from the alignment between the Sun and Saturn, but this is waning, though the Moon is also in opposition to Saturn. This will lead to feelings of restraint and control with a degree of discipline but also a certain lack of confidence or easy disappointment, with acute sensitivity.

All in all this is one of the years most complex periods of planetary alignments, and coming as it does at the time of the Full Moon may be subject to very trying moods and circumstances. As such there will be a particularly wide range of feelings, with clashing emotions, some of which may be extreme, and others which will tend to cancel each other out.
