The Sun is now coming into direct alignment with Saturn. In fact the Sun, Saturn and Mercury are all to be found within 3 degrees of one another, with Venus in very close proximity. In addition each of these is in opposition to Neptune with the Earth in between.

So far as moods are concerned this continues with a period of heightened alert, with nervous restlessness, together with raised tension and anxiety. This may lead to increased self awareness with definite worries and concern along with an overall sense of apprehension. It means that problems will be magnified and assume undue proportions.

The opposition between Mars and Jupiter is now approaching its peak and carries the potential for conflict and aggression with the risk of arguments and contentious encounters. This may engender an irritable and intolerant atmosphere with brash and impatient gestures, as well as headstrong and self willed attitudes. On the more positive side this may provide energy and enthusiasm for on going schemes and ventures together with the necessary drive and determination. However it can all too easily tend towards extremes with a superior, condescending attitude.

A degree of balance and control will come from the alignment of the Sun and Saturn. This is likely to result in better discipline and planning, but only at the expense of introspective and reserved emotions that may tend towards melancholia, depression, or lack of confidence. Hence we see that the brasher elements of the Mars/Jupiter opposition are countered by the hesitant, and self limiting qualities of the alignment between the Sun and Saturn. As to which of these will predominate will larger be down to personal circumstances, but to some degree both elements are likely to co-exist, and have the potential to cause confusion and mental chaos.

Under these circumstances it may be hard to make up ones mind on anything, with the dilemma of having so many good thoughts, but being unable to choose between them.

Once again this atmosphere can tend towards extremes, but the moderating factor of Saturn and the phase of the Moon means that the coming days will see a toning down of the more penetrating elements of this period.
