We are now just two days after the New Moon and moods and emotions will continue to be tense and on edge with an increased sense of alertness and anxiety. In addition there will still be a noticeable degree of nervous restlessness, with subtle fears and apprehensions, that for some may be of acute dimensions. Indeed those susceptible to sensitive atmospheres may still find this mood somewhat of a challenge.

The high moods of this period are scarcely to be wondered at. Currently the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Saturn, and Venus are each clustered together within around 15 degrees of one another, and also in opposition to Neptune, with the Earth in between. As such this constitutes one of the years major alignments, in a period that is soon to become even more filled with planetary activity.

For the moment moods and feelings will continue to be governed by clashing emotions that will be prone to swift changes of mood. Under these circumstances sympathetic and considerate feelings may quickly give way to altogether more aggressive and confrontational behaviour with the possibility of arguments or volatile expression. There will also be a strong element of escapism that could play havoc with ones daily routine with tempting distractions that will form a drain on ones time. Consequently concentration may be poor and it will require extra discipline to keep to ones tasks.

Coming days should see a slow change towards less strident conditions, but the overall mood will probably remain unsettled.

Alert is 8. Moon 5 % illuminated.
