The current emotional atmosphere may seem just a little less stressful than previous days. However there is still an underlying sense of tension, with the Sun in opposition to Neptune.

This is creating a period of sensitive and vulnerable emotions with heightened awareness and perception. For some this may be of an intensity that could prove difficult, and may also contribute to thoughts of an idealistic, impractical, or self deluding nature. In addition there may also be a strong element of escapism, that may prove distracting and means that ones daily routine may be difficult to keep to. Similarly there may be a lowered sense of concentration with wandering thoughts that means that extra discipline will be required to keep to the task in hand.

This atmosphere may also cultivate feelings of subtle concern and apprehension, and has the potential to transform any fears into a persistent, obsessive and even neurotic form of preoccupation.

On the more positive side this opposition will easily inspire thoughts of a creative or artistic nature, though extra discipline will be required to make the best of these inclinations. In addition there may also be a disposition towards mystical or spiritual awareness with the potential for opening up new avenues of personal insight and enlightenment in what is a formative and highly impressionable atmosphere.

Apart from the opposition of the Sun and Neptune there are no major alignments at this present time. However as will be seen from the pic below there is now a rather imbalanced spread of planets, whose collective energy may cause an unpredictable degree of tension with a subtle variation of emotion over the coming days and weeks. Accordingly we see that The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn are now all to be found within 24 degrees of one another, and also are somewhat (though not exactly) in opposition to Neptune and Uranus.

Another important feature of this time is that we are now just five days away from the next New Moon. This means that very shortly the tensions and anxiety associated with the New Moon will soon begin to make themselves apparent, and this month the added influence of the opposition between the Sun and Neptune will accentuate the mood still further.
