The Moon is now coming into alignment with Mars and this will signify a period of more aggressive moods and feelings. The major period of this alignment will last until around 09:00 GMT (04:00 EDT) on the 7th of August and will mark a time of added stress and tension. In addition this will be a time when passions and emotions will be easily aroused with a robust sense of like and dislike.

Under these circumstances petty animosities, resentment, irritability and impatience are all likely to thrive and there is the possibility of arguments and contentious encounters.

Moods will be made to seem all the more sensitive as the Sun is now aligning with Neptune. This will tend to create a powerful subtlety of emotion with impressionable or idealistic inclinations and a tendency towards over emotional expression. One may also be taken in with impractical or self deluded ideas as well as strong feelings of an escapist nature. In this present atmosphere problems may tend to assume monumental proportions and apprehensions and fears could develop an obsessional, almost neurotic edge to them.

Disappointments and disillusionment may be quick to surface and doubts and insecurity as well as a certain lack of confidence may all be in evidence. There may also be a strong attraction for creative or artistic expression and there may be similar leaning towards mystical or spiritual enquiry.

The reality is however that any ventures or activities will have to find extra determination and discipline to persevere in the face of tempting distractions of a strongly escapist nature.
