Today is the day of the Full Moon and we are entering a short, complex, and intense period of emotional instability that will also see the Moon align with both Neptune and Uranus over the next few days. This will very much heighten the Full Moon intensity and create a very tense and anxious atmosphere that some may find difficult to cope with.

Certain to say this will lead to a greatly increased sense of awareness with nervous restlessness, lack of concentration, and degrees of mental confusion or chaos.

Those susceptible to vulnerable atmospheres or panic attacks may feel especially pressured, and this will be particularly apparent as we come to the alignment of the Moon and Neptune around 20:00 GMT or 15:00 EDT. This alignment will last for around 12 hours and will lead to extreme emotional sensitivity with unstable emotions, and the possibility of neurotic or escapist tendencies. At the same time the Moon will also be in opposition to first Saturn, and then to Venus, in what will be an extremely complex combination of celestial forces. The influence of Saturn may add a degree of control and restraint to the situation, but also impart pessmism, self confinement, and even melancholia and lack of confidence. On the other hand the influence of Venus may bring warm and more affectionate emotions, that will however have to contend with other more bellicose moods.

As with any Full Moon atmosphere there is the potential for aggressive or belligerent feelings with argumentative behaviour, and the possibility of contentious encounters that may arise over the merest trifle. Similarly there may be irritable, short tempered, or impatient outbursts that have the potential to become extremely volatile.

Predominantly however this mood will incline towards apprehensive, worrying or self absorbed behaviour of the sort that will not easily be calmed. Hence there may be a strong desire to take the edge off the atmosphere through either medicaments or alcohol, whose effects, like those of caffeine will be greatly magnified at this time.

On the more positive side this period offers amazing energy to deal with on going schemes and ventures, but will require great discipline to avoid the more restless emotions that could prove an immense distraction.

All in all this is an extremely complex emotional atmosphere may suit those with a strong nervous disposition, but for others may represent an extremely testing period at the edge of what they feel they can stand. However like all atmospheres this one will soon come to an end as calmer moods begin to make themselves apparent after the middle of the week.
