Tensions and anxiety continue to be high after the New Moon of just several days ago.In addition we are now at the height of an alignment involving Saturn, Venus, the Moon, Earth, and Neptune.
This is creating a cross mix of influence with clashing emotions as well a generally heightened sense of tension.

This means that moods may be unsettled with a large degree of nervous restlessness, apprehension and lack of concentration. As a result it may feel harder to stick to the task in hand and there may be a strong escapist attitude so that extra discipline will be required to persevere with ones daily routine.

Under these circumstances there is also likely to be a heightened sense of aggressive energy so that arguments may flare brightly with a strong element of confrontation.

Paradoxically the developing alignment between the Moon and Venus indicates a friendlier more affectionate atmosphere with gentler, sympathetic and more considerate emotions. However since the Moon is also in opposition to Neptune (as is Venus) then one can also expect extreme emotional sensitivity with unstable emotions that are capable of confused and chaotic impulses. In addition there may be simmering resentment, animosity, and a very swift response to perceived injustice.

All in all then this constitutes a highly complex atmosphere with the potential for extremes of emotion that will naturally vary according to circumstance. However it should be warned that the effects of alcohol will tend to raise passions quite dramatically at this time as its effects will be magnified. Similarly the effects of caffeine will be more evident than normal and even moderate quantities will contibute quite noticeably to ones overall sense of anxiety and tension.

On a more positive level this mood offers great potential for creative and artistic expression of a highly original nature. There is also a chance to explore mytical and spirtual boundaries with renewed perception, and this could open up unexpected areas of personal awareness.
