Just two days after the New Moon and moods still continue to be somewhat tense and anxious. This means there will be an elevated sense of awareness with an apprehensive or worrying disposition that for some may prove to be intense. In addition there may be a poor sense of concentration so that extra discipline will be required to keep to ones normal routine.

Under these circumstances there may be an intense loathing of dull and humdrum tasks and this will lead to countless distractions or the longing for variety and change. For others this mood may be one of zestful endeavour with a prodigious output as well as high alertness and mental acuity. However this atmosphere will continue to be difficult for those of a sensitive disposition and this could lead to increased anxiety and even panic attacks.

Some measure of restrain may come from the alignment of the Moon and Saturn. This will start to occur around 19:00 GMT (14:00 EDT) and will lead to more reserved, inhibited, or depressive moods and emotions with a pronounced attitude of self consciousness.

At the same time the Moon will also be in opposition to Neptune, and this may well result in confused or unstable moods with acute emotional sensitivity. There may also be a propensity to neurotic or escapist tendencies and highlights a period of particular insecurity.

It has to be stressed that this is a short lived influence as there will be a distinct change around 06:00 GMT (01:00 EDT) on the 17th of July ,as the Moon then begins to align with Venus.

This will create an altogether more friendlier and sociable atmosphere with strong affections contrasting the rather reserved attitudes of only a few hours previously. In addition there will be rather less of the restlessness that has typified previous days and illustrates how swiftly moods are able to change as a result of celestial factors.

It will be seen then that for the next 24 hours there will be swiftly changing mood conditions as the Moon aligns with Saturn, Neptune, and Venus in very quick succession. It pays then to be wary of impulsive and sometimes uncomfortable emotions that could make the next 24 hours varied and challenging.
