We are now just three or four days short of the New Moon, and moods and feelings will begin to exhibit a zestful degree of change. This means an added sense of nervous restlessness, and vigour, together with a renewed enthusiasm for on going schemes and ventures.
As a result ones daily routine may benefit from a subtle boost of energy, and tasks may be completed in a shorter time than normal.
As with any pre New Moon situation there may be increased tension and anxiety as well as the potential for contentious encounters or more passionate moods and feelings. Likewise there may be an added feeling of apprehension with doubts and insecurities or an irritable disposition that may easily erupt into volatile expression. This will be made all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol as its effects will be magnified at this time.
Coming days will see a gradual increase in these emotions as we approach the New Moon on the 14th of this month. The reality is that the New Moon can be every bit as stressful as the Full Moon and sometimes - depending on planetary alignments - even more so. This month the New Moon has relatively few alignments to offset or amplify its effects and will therefore be rather more predictable.
It is a matter of record that at least 8 of the major earthquakes that have occurred over the last one hundred years have a definite New Moon link and illustrates just how forceful the New Moon can be.
It should be mentioned that the alignment between Venus and Saturn that for the last few weeks has exerted a degree of restraint and control has now begun to decline, though its effects should persist at least until the coming New Moon.
It will also be remembered that both Saturn and Venus are still in opposition to Neptune. This has been responsible for more refined and delicate moods that can incline to an appreciation of harmony and beauty with a special emphasis on the musical arts. This may also result in reflective, sentimental or otherwise sensitive feelings.
Alert is 7. Moon 15% illuminated.
