Habitually Moon/Uranus alignments - though of short duration only - can be highly unsettling, and capable of the most extreme of acts. Just several instances include the recent Virginia Tech shootings, as well as the conviction for murder of two girls in Australia, who suddenly got it into their mind that it would be the right thing to do, to murder their friend.

It is a matter of note that such acts are especially prevalent around the time of Mars/Uranus alignments, and though these instances are particularly extreme they serve to illustrate what this is conjunction is capable of.

Likely traits at this time include bizarre, unusual, or out of character thoughts and emotions, together with unsettled, self willed , or erratic feelings. In addition passions will be easily aroused with impatient, impulsive, rebellious or irritable behaviour. Most importantly there may be a tendency towards drastic remedies with the potential for upheavals in family life. As on previous days some measure of restraint or balance may come from the alignment of Venus and Saturn. These two planets have been aligned now for well over a week, contributing an atmosphere of limited or restrained emotion, but also a tendency towards selfish or exacting feelings and a sense of loneliness or isolation.

Both of the above mentioned planets are also in opposition to Neptune and this may contribute to a degree of emotional confusion as well as more refined thoughts and emotions with an idealistic or sentimental tinge to them. Predominantly however it is he effects of the aforementioned alignment between the Moon and Uranus that are of the most concern, and during the whole of the alert period it will be necessary to exercise the greatest of restraint.

Solar activity update.

Lowered Solar flare activity has persisted well into its second day. It has often been observed that such periods usually lead to disturbed or unusual weather patterns and this was especially the case towards the last weeks of June.

During that period lowered Solar flare activity that continued for around a week was followed by a spate of highly extreme weather conditions around the world. These included notable floods in China, USA, Australia, and the British Isles. Meanwhile Greece and Eastern Europe experienced a harsh heatwave, whereas in South Africa there were highly unusual snow falls that blanketed most of the nation. It will be interesting to see whether this latest bout of reduced Solar activity will result in similar effects.
