Lowered Solar activity may bring extreme weather.

The Sun is beginning to exhibit lowered flare activity of the sort that was observed towards the end of last month. This led to worldwide conditions of extreme or unusual weather conditions and it will interesting to see whether this is soon to be repeated. This will be especially likely if this lowered output is continued over successive days, as some sort of noticeable effects are then almost certain to occur.

4th - 5th July 2007

The Moon is now transiting between Neptune and Uranus in what constitutes a delicate if not turbulent period on the monthly calendar.

Although the Moon will not align with Uranus until around 18:00 on the 5th of July, this present atmosphere is capable of deeply unsettling emotional agitation. This means that those vulnerable to panic attacks or sensitive atmospheres may feel especially exposed, and for some this may come to be a period of extreme emotions at the limit of what they feel they can stand.

As on previous days some measure of restraint may come from the alignment of Venus and Saturn. The two have been aligned for over a week now, with both being in opposition to Neptune. This is likely to lead to inhibited or restricted emotional expression with the possibility of selfish and exacting feelings, together with the feeling of loneliness or isolation. In addition there may be some melancholia or a pessimistic and nervously inclined outlook.

As a result ones dealings with others may assume a detached or introverted aspect in what is self absorbed atmosphere that may not relate well to the needs of others. This also means that one should not expect too much help from others, as their attention may similarly be inwardly directed.

The effects of Neptune may lead to the development of refined, idealistic, or sentimental values, but can also result in easy disappointment of disillusionment with the possibility of deceit and self deception.

Once again this represents a complex emotional atmosphere that for some will exhibit great insecurity and apprehension, so that it could prove difficult to settle. On the more positive side this period offers the chance to take stock and evaluate the direction of ones life and make the necessary adjustments, as faults and fears will be glaringly exposed.

As the Moon moves closer to Uranus over the next 24 hours there is likely to be a slow gathering of more unusual or out of character moods and emotions - but more on this in the next alert bulletin.

Alert is 7.5. Moon 79% illuminated.

3rd - 4th July 2007

The alignment between the Sun and Mercury is now at an end, and this will relieve the atmosphere of some of the intense feelings that some may have found oppressive over the last few days. However this still remains a highly complex emotional situation.

For example around 17:00 GMT (12:00 EDT) the Moon will align with Neptune, and will stay aligned for around 15 hours. In effect this will constitute an alignment of five planets - the Moon and Neptune, that will be opposed to both Saturn and Venus, with Earth in between.

The permutation of moods possible from such a highly complex scenario are almost limitless. Broadly however they will centre around a very concentrated period of emotional tension that although lacking the power of previous days will still be capable of causing problems. Some may find this a highly stimulating atmosphere with a rich experience of thought and suggestion, rather like a highly spiced meal. As such emotions may vary with clashing moods and feelings that to some extent may cancel each other out. For example the limitation and strict discipline of Saturn will be balanced by the more friendly, affectionate, humorous and out going disposition of Venus.

Then we have the effects of Neptune with its more refined and intuitive qualities, but also a disposition to extreme emotional sensitivity. Then there are yet further opposites - for example the easy and light sense of enjoyment of Venus contrasted by the heavy and inhibited outlook of Saturn.

It should also be remembered that we are barely three days beyond the Full Moon and tensions and anxieties may still be running high, so that contentious encounters, irritability and conflict cannot be ruled out, even if this mood is significantly less strident than just several days ago.

Inevitably under these circumstances it is very difficult to give a precise interpretation of likely moods and feelings, but suffice it to say that the next 24 hours will constitute a very rich and varied experience of emotion.

Alert is 8. Moon 87% illuminated.
